Techo Covid-19 Treatment Building in Preah Sihanouk Province is 75% complete

SIHANOUKVILLE: The Governor of Preah Sihanouk Province, Kouch Chamroeun, led a group of officials to inspect the construction site of Techo Covid-19 Treatment Building on the premises of Preah Sihanouk Provincial Referral Hospital in Village 4, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville on Monday, 28 February.

The Techo Covid-19 Treatment Building has one floor, is 33 meters wide and 90 meters long with concrete pillars and a zinc roof, and is located at Preah Sihanouk Provincial Referral Hospital. The building can accommodate 356 beds for Covid-19 patients. According to the building's construction team, 75% of the construction is scheduled to be completed before the Khmer New Year.

During the inspection of Covid-19 treatment building, the Preah Sihanouk Governor also instructed the construction technical team to speed up the construction work in accordance with technical standards, making sure to ensure high quality for long-term use because the building is the common property of the Cambodian people.

After completing the inspection, Governor Kouch Chamroeun inspected the location around the hospital and instructed the team to clear the land and make the entrance as well as the lawn, in order to make the provincial hospital more beautiful and green.
